Who is Intessa designed for?+
Intessa was formulated specifically for patients managing glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and age-related retinal decline. It is not a general wellness supplement. If you are managing one of these conditions, we recommend discussing Intessa with your ophthalmologist before starting.
How long before I see results?+
Clinical outcomes in NAD+ research are typically observed at 30 to 90 days of consistent use. We recommend committing to at least 90 days — one month to allow NAD+ levels to build, a second month for the protective effects to begin, and a third month to measure any changes at your next clinical appointment.
Is Intessa safe to take with my glaucoma medication?+
Intessa is a dietary supplement, not a drug, and is not designed to replace any prescribed medication. The NAD+ research in glaucoma specifically studied supplementation alongside stable IOP-lowering therapy. Human safety trials of NMN at doses up to 1,250mg/day — more than double Intessa's 500mg — showed no significant adverse events. Always inform your physician about any supplement you are taking.

A generic NMN supplement contains one ingredient. Intessa contains five, each at clinically validated doses, in their most bioavailable forms, with piperine to enhance absorption across the board.
